We loved sitting around after work in the late 60s and early 70s and checking out the new LPs that were flooding the market and heard on great radio stations like Mother-WMUM, KSAN, WSHE. The album cuts ranged from King Crimson and Captain Beefheart, a new Beatles, and we’d track from front to back. So many great cuts that just didn’t find room on the air. Here on Tales Vinyl Tells, I remind you how great the album cuts were and still are. Moody Blues were bringing the eerie sound of a mellotron, Hendrix’ candle was burning brightly, and Seals and Crofts were turning people on to the love in their music and their faith in Bahá’í. Man, we’ve got all that here with each episode. Donald Fagen and his music is here too, today. Hope you enjoy!
